Die Geschichte von igus® beginnt am 15.10.1964 mit Günter Blase in einer Doppelgarage in Köln-Mülheim. In den ersten zwanzig Jahren arbeitet igus® als Zulieferbetrieb für schwierige technische Kunststoffteile. 1983 beginnt mit Frank Blase die Konzentration auf eigene Produkte - E-Ketten-Systeme® und Gleitlager - und der Aufbau des eigenen Vertriebs. Von 1985 bis 2016 wächst igus® von 40 auf über 2950 igus®-Menschen, verteilt in der ganzen Welt. Auch für die nächsten Jahre investiert igus® in Expansion. Die Chancen sind da - dank der modernen Werkstoffe!
