Als Julius Trockels seine Bäckerei 1884 gründete, verfügte er über backtechnisches Geschick, das Verständnis für wirtschaftliches Arbeiten sowie ein ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein. Damals wie heute sind Frische und Güte unserer Rohstoffe ebenso entscheidend wie eine bewusste und sorgsame Weiterverarbeitung. Jeder einzelne Schritt des Backens wird dabei streng überwacht.

Zwar ist Kuchenmeister längst ein Welt-Unternehmen, aber die Qualitätskontrolle liegt immer noch in Familienhand.

Der Einsatz von Fetten und Ölen ist bei der Herstellung unserer Backwaren unerlässlich. Kuchenmeister verwendet - neben hochwertigen pflanzlichen Fetten und Ölen - als Ausnahme, für die geschmackliche Abrundung einiger Backwaren, Butter. Die von uns verarbeiteten pflanzlichen Fette/ Öle können sowohl auf Sonnenblumen als auch auf Raps, Palm oder Kokos basieren. Die Entscheidung für ein Fett/ Öl liegt in den spezifischen Merkmalen sowie den technologischen Anforderungen der einzelnen Backwaren und den Wünschen unserer Kunden begründet.
