The Technology
Our patented intelligent inks and plastics have the ability to detect changes in CO2 and temperature. These can be incorporated into colour-changing labels which indicate loss of freshness, temperature abuse or time from opening. We are continually developing new indicators for use in a wide variety of applications in the food sector and other markets.

Insignia intelligent labels can:
- indicate food freshness from package opening
- confirm cold-chain integrity during shipping and distribution
- detect changes in CO2 levels at any point in the value chain
