Frima NV is an independent SME, based in Oostende Belgium, specialized in the production of ready meals and frozen snack products since 64 years. Our company supplies high quality frozen ready meals to the retail, food service and catering markets. We also produce and commercialize our own Frima brand products.

We believe that food you serve your customer or you family should be healthy and great tasting. That’s why we source all of our ingredients with the best quality products.

Our Story :
• 1947 : creation of the Belgium company “les Frigofères du Littoral” in the port of Oostende Belgium specialized in frozen fish processing and the preparation of meals with sauce;
• 1986 : the company has been sold to the Group Mc Cain . Frima became a division of Mc Cain specialized in frozen ready-to-eat meals and snacking products.
• 2009 : the plant has been sold to 2 independent entrepreneurs who set up a new development strategy.
