ELAP Engineering was founded in the 1970's from a small workshop in Accrington and was the first company in the world to develop the rotating car seat concept, which enjoyed patent protection for many years.

The rotating car seat is an ideal solution, enabling you to get in and out of your vehicle with dignity and ease. Since then, Elap has grown continuously and offers a wide range of products and services.

Our unique combination of skills and manufacturing equipment allows us to be creative in developing bespoke products and solutions for your mobility needs, so please get in touch today and see what we can do for you!

We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of mobility products to assist your independence. We also undertake bespoke projects where your needs are very specific and perhaps there is not an off-the-shelf product available.
